Notifications and User Confirmation Regarding Biometrics and Device Information

The following outlines Yaaep statements regarding biometric identifiers and information related to its products.

Yaaep products employ a unique encryption algorithm to deconstruct fingerprint scan image data, generating template data that triggers the product's locking mechanism. This data cannot be reconstructed into a fingerprint image and cannot be used by third parties. Yaaep products do not capture, collect, obtain, or record users' fingerprints, and any information stored within the product is never transmitted outside the product or shared with any third party.

Some legislative bodies have enacted laws regulating the application of biometric technology in commercial transactions. Although Yaaep does not collect or control such data, customers using Yaaep products (including for commercial transactions) may be required to comply with these laws.

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for any notice, disclosure, consent, or other obligations you may incur in connection with your use of Yaaep products, and not Yaaep; you further agree to release and hold harmless Yaaep from any liability or damages related to the products and involving biometric identifiers and biometric information. Nothing in these Terms limits the applicability of “our limitation of liability,” “disputes with Yaaep,” or any other provision herein.
